Add TLC Circulation Receipt Printer

  1. Log in to Windows.
  2. Open TLC's Circulation Program and log in.
  3. Select Printers under Setup in the left-hand side.
  4. Use the drop-down menu under Installed Printers to select TLC Printer.
  5. Select Continuous.
  6. Check the Use Raw Printing box.
  7. Type "6" in the No. of Line Feeds box.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Close the window using the X button.

    Do not click Cancel.
  10. Select Slips under Setup in the left-hand side.

    There are 10 different slips accessed through the drop-down menu in this window. You will need to assign one set of settings to 5 slips, and another set of settings to the other 5 slips.
  11. For the Arrived Request, Borrower Charges, Borrower Items Out, Check Out, and Messages slips, use the following settings:

    1. Under the Print To drop-down menu, select TLC Printer.

    2. Deselect the Use Windows Default Printer box.

    3. Check the Print at This Workstation box.

    4. Click Save.

    5. Repeat this for each of the slips listed above.

  12. For the Borrower Information, Borrower Payment Receipts, Borrower Request List, Routing, and Title Inquiry slips, use the following settings:

    1. Deselect the Use Windows Default Printer box.

    2. Deselect the Print at This Workstation box.

    3. Click Save.

    4. Repeat this for each of the slips listed above.

  13. Close the box using the X button.

    Do not click Cancel.
  14. Test the print function:

    1. Look up a patron with a checked-out item.

    2. Highlight one item.

    3. Click Go beside the Print Selected Item box at the bottom of the screen.
