Please read all of the directions carefully before you begin and contact the Helpdesk if you have any questions.

Windows

To install the Memphis CA Certificate in Windows, follow the directions below.

  1. Download the CA's certificate: Clarks Summit University Certification Authority Certificate.
  2. Open the downloaded file.
  3. When the certificate is displayed, click the Install Certificate button.
  4. Complete the Certificate Import Wizard.
    1. On the Certificate Store page, select "Place all certificates in the following store".
    2. Click the Browse button.
    3. Select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities", and then click OK.
    4. On the Summary page, click Finish to import the certificate.
  5. When you are prompted with a security warning, click Yes to complete the installation.

    You will receive a notice that the certificate was successfully installed. 

macOS

To install the Memphis CA Certificate in macOS, follow the directions below.

  1. Download the CA's certificate: Clarks Summit University Certification Authority Certificate.
  2. Double-click the certificate to open it in Keychain Access.
  3. On the Add Certificate prompt, select the "System" keychain and then click Add.
  4. Enter your password when prompted.
  5. If asked about trusting the certificate, select "Always Trust" and type your password a second time.
    This will prevent the system from asking later.

    The certificate will now be in your "My Certificates" list in the "System" keychain.
