Vonage Single Sign-On (SSO) Guide

This feature provides a centralized authentication and password management for our Vonage phone system. Using SSO you can use your Microsoft CSU Credential for logging into the Vonage Phone system. Was enabled this will replace the username and password option Vonage provides.

With SSO enabled you will be able to sign into Vonage using a single button. All that you need is your CSU email address and to follow the Microsoft Prompts to login with your CSU Email Credentials.

Logging in via the Desktop App, Mobile App, or the Vonage App Website will all use the following guide.

Disclaimer: This only applies to CSU employees. Any room phones or numbers that are assigned to more than one person cannot get SSO at this time. SSO applies only to extensions with one user.

Always be sure you are at a proper website before logging in. Check the address bar URL, the link URL, or the button URL before clicking our entering your username and password. If you are concerned you are not at the site you should be please contact the CSU HelpDesk before going any further.

For this guide you will be using the following URL domains.

If you are already logged into any of the Vonage apps on the device. Log off and log in using the new method.

  1. Open the Desktop, Mobile, or Web apps and press the log in option

  2. On the window that opens press the "Log in with Single Sign-On" button. See the Green Arrow in the image.

  3. Enter your CSU email address and press Next

  4. You should be at the CSU Microsoft Login page (https://login.microsoftonline.com/).

    1. Please note the image used and the URL to protect against Phishing attacks.

    2. These website page images may vary depending on your current login status with Microsoft.

    3. Enter your CSU email credential

       

    4. Select the Work or School Account option

       

    5. Enter your CSU email passcode

       

    6. Approve the MFA request

       

  5. The Vonage App or website app should open or prompt you to open an app

  6. You are now logged into your Vonage Phone system via your CSU Microsoft Credential
