These steps must be totally completed before we can migrate your iPhone. |
On the old device:
Upgrade to the latest system software.
Warning title This is very important: You cannot restore your information if the old and new devices are not running the same version of iOS.
Perform a device backup.
Turn off Find My iPhone.
Log out of iCloud.
