New Student Sample Email Account Welcome Letter

Welcome to Clarks Summit University!

In the email below, you will find important information regarding your CSU student email address and other services. Please take the time to read this email and complete the tasks below. When done you will have access to your student Microsoft account and the Student Portal. 

CSU STUDENT CREDENTIALS

Are used to access CSU resources like http://Microsoft.com , email, and MS Office applications

MICROSOFT LOG IN

Using the credentials above...

  1. Log into the following URL: https://myaccount.microsoft.com/.

  2. Setup Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as prompted after logging in. MFA Setup Guide.

  3. Change your password at this site Password Change to a secure password. 
    Read the CSU Secure Password Policy

Your Office 365 Email is now accessible at the following URL:
https://outlook.office.com

STUDENT PORTAL

Now that you have logged in, let's take care of one more account creation. This won't take long, and you will be back to your normal schedule in just a few minutes.

You will need you to create your Student Academic Portal. A guide can be found here, Student Portal Setup.

Microsoft Office Access

Microsoft Office desktop and web applications are included with your Microsoft login for email. While you are a CSU student. Visit http://www.Office.com  and login with your CSU student email account. From here you can access the web version of MS Office or the desktop version. Just click the Install Office link near the right top of the page, download and then install it. 

MS Office is a privilege for students and upon graduation or leaving CSU these services may be deactivated without notice. It is in your best interest to have a back up of any email or other files you store in this service.
