If you are experiencing problems with accessing one or more of our student services, you can usually resolve these issues by changing your Student Email password.

Reseting your Forgotten CSU Student Email Password

Reset it yourself

  1. Visit https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/

  2. Enter your CSU email address (eg. john.doe@my.clarkssummitu.edu)

Password Policy

This new password must meet or exceed the following requirements:

  • At least 16 characters long

  • No use of your name, username, or birth date

Must pass 3 of the following 4 rules

  • At least one UPPERCASE letter

  • At least one lowercase letter

  • At least one number

  • At least one special character ( !@#$%^&*()-_+ )

TIP

Inside your Office 365 account complete the email security questions setup so you can reset your own CSU Office 365 account password. To update your Security Info visit https://account.microsoft.com/security.

Request CSU Help

  1. Visit https://student.clarkssummitu.edu/.

  2. Click Request a password reset.

  3. Enter your full legal name and the last four digits of your SSN into the email that opens.

  4. Send the email (to helpdesk@clarkssummitu.edu).
