Check Scanning
You will not be able to scan more than $50,000 in checks on a given day. If the checks total more than $50,000 don't scan them, keep a tape and enter the single amount on the first check line of the deposit slip for that day. Send the checks to the bank with the rest of the day's deposit.
- Using Internet Explorer, log into Wayne Bank's Web Capture check scanning site.
- Create Deposit.
- Enter the total amount of checks you will deposit.
- Put a small stack of checks in the scanning machine (next to the blue guide). The checks should be facing you.
- Click the "Scan" button from the site.
- If there are any errors, click "Fix Errors." Enter the corrected amount and/or check number then click "Enter" on your keyboard.
- Continue to scan all the checks, fixing errors as you go.
- Confirm that there is no "Difference"
- Store in bin
